A multi-dimensional promotion campaign will be launched for "BioJapan 2006 - World Business Forum-" using Biotechnology Japan (BTJ), a general portal site on biotechnology (more than 85,000 registrees as of October 2005) run by Nikkei BP, as its key medium to optimize effective and fruitful marketing efforts by the exhibitors. By taking full advantage as publisher of business media, Nikkei BP promises various and an on-target promotion campaign for BioJapan 2006.



A special micro-site for BioJapan 2006 will be set up in Biotechnology Japan, a portal site where approximately 60% of all Japanese bio-researchers make daily access to, about two months prior to the event to provide up-to-date information on and must-see exhibits of the event. A multidimensional campaign will be launched through distribution of e-mail to registered members of the website who have also enlisted for e-mail services.
Visitor registration will begin from the end of April to urge visitors to make early pre-registrations. Business Partnering, an on-line matching system, will commence its operation at the same timing in aim to complete business appointment arrangements well ahead of the actual event.



A full-scale direct mail campaign will be launched using Nikkei BPfs sophisticated subscribersf database. DM will be sent out to subscribers of Nikkei BPfs biotechnology-related media, past visitors, and potential visitors of BioJapan 2006. English brochures will be also sent to foreign embassies, governmental organizations, and past overseas visitors, encouraging participations from overseas as well.



Advertisements announcing the coming event will be run in
Nikkei Biotechnology (newsletter) and its bundled magazine,
Nikkei Biotechnology & Business Review, and advertisement page(s) will also appear in the PDF-style website magazine, BTJ Journal, renewed from the former Nikkei Biotechnology & Business magazine. BioJapan will run announcement advertisements mainly in specialized papers such as Nikkei Industrial Daily, while making an effort at sending out related news to overseas media.
