Tokyo Game Show is the global event that gathers attention worldwide. 345 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions joined TGS 2016. The number of oversea exhibitors exceeded the domestic exhibitors. With further promotion to exhibit on TGS 2017 across the world, the brand and status as the international show will be enhanced. Along with it, TGS2017 will be broadcasted through the online streaming to the broader areas of the world. TGS2017 is the event that caters to the game fans and industry people all around the world.

  • Live streaming to the world

    The original online streaming programs both for domestic and oversea will be produced. The updates by exhibitors and competitions on the e-Sports stage plus many more will be broadcasted. From July the preview program will start to stir expectation.

  • For the growth of e-Sports

    e-Sports is the big issue of TGS2017. We will make a great effort to grow e-Sports in Japan. Popular game titles for consoles and smartphones will be welcomed to be played by famous gamers and broadcasted online to appeal fun of e-Sports.

  • VR plus AR & MR

    VR area is renamed as VR/AR. AR and MR related software and device will be welcomed as exhibitor. Solutions and tools for B2B purpose will be welcomed.

  • Exhibitors and attendees will be more global

    In addition to Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America, recruiting effort in new areas such as South Asia, Middle-East and Oceania will be strengthened. TGS aims to be a hub for world game industry people to connect each other.

 All the halls of Makuhari Messe from hall 1 to hall 11 will be for TGS2017 (Planed)

TGS2017 will use all the halls of Makuhari Messe from hall 1 to hall 11, which will ease the busy condition of the venue. The event Hall between hall 1-8 and hall 9-11 will be the place for the food court and the rest. The location is better for visitors to drop in.
※ Number of halls and final layout will be released at the exhibitor briefing on July.
