At the same time, since the e-Sports game tournaments are held as exhibitions and cultural programs in the large-scale sports events such as Olympics, Asian Games and National Sports Festival, potentials in e-Sports becoming popular as “sports” are receiving attention.

How to win in the world for domestic games: Learn from global hit titles made-in-Japan
--What are the latest strategies for marketing, development and promotion for overseas markets?--

Over the recent years, Japanese games have been said to face a bigger hurdle to compete against Western games in global markets, due to the scale of development costs and the styles of games. In the past couple of years, however, game titles made in Japan are starting to show their presence, such as some games being recognized for overseas awards and proving popular among global gamers. Depending on how to compete in the global market, Japanese games still have odds to win.
Amid the progress of multi-platforms and the growth of new entertainment such as e-Sports, what are the tactics to compete in the global game market? What will be the most important factor to win--the initial plan, the development process or the marketing strategy? The Forum will provide an opportunity to learn from the success of Japanese hit makers and explore the directions for Japanese games to move forward.
