At TOKYO GAME SHOW, this year again, with the support of the sponsor companies (Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo, Kodansha Game Creator's Lab. Happinet, iGi indie Game incubator, ELSA Japan and BenQ Japan), 81 indie game developers are exhibiting as "Selected Indie 80".

From the 81 works, the SENSE OF WONDER NIGHT (SOWN) screening committee selects 8 works (SOWN2023 finalists) that match the purpose of "SOWN" and will be presented at SOWN2023 to be held on Friday, September 22nd. (The presentation will be streamed online.)

The "Predict SOWN2023 Finalists Campaign" will be held for two weeks, starting with the Selected Indie 80 introductory program "Selected Indie Games 80 ～Gateway to SOWN2023～", which will stream on Tuesday, August 29.

Let’s select 3 works that you think will remain in the "SOWN2023 finalist." We will feed back your supportive comments to the developers.
We will present the desired prize from PlayStation_®5, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model Neon Blue/Neon Red set, game software "SERIAL CLEANERS" or "TOKYO GAME SHOW 2023 Official T-shirt" in order of the number of recommended titles selected as finalists. If there are many people with the same number, the winner will be decided by lottery. The announcement of the winner will be replaced by shipping.

「Selected Indie Games 80 ～Gateway to SOWN2023～」

As a kickoff for the "Predict SOWN2023 Finalists Campaign", the program introducing "Selected Indie 80", "Selected Indie Games 80 ～Gateway to SOWN2023～" will be streamed from 18:00 on Tuesday, August 29th. At the TOKYO GAME SHOW, 81 "Selected Indie 80" titles were selected from 793 titles, the highest ever number of entries, and Mr. Shin Imai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IGN Japan, will introduce them all at once. This is a great opportunity to experience the charm of an indie game full of ideas. Please take a look.
