如上所说，游戏之中将会有非常多的昆虫登场，和我们的主角蛾仔一起，与不同种属纲目的虫僚们通过不同的工作场合或者是事件相遇。
或是和阔别许久的虫友重逢；或是与公司上层的财团走虫们激烈交换建设性的意见；或是干脆”作茧自缚”回避现实……每个登场角色都有自己曾经和现在的故事和设定（纯站桩NPC不会），去了解它们的个性，理解它们的追求，并通过你的行动和选择来决定每个虫或者是整个故事的走向、结局。
Awakening is a first-person experimental puzzle game from Argentina with a
unique gameplay based on pattern recognition. Each machine represents a
challenge that consists of two videos. The first video is the clue. So, you
have to find each time the clue appears in the second video. At the
beginning, clues can be simple objects or verbs. As time goes by, game
mechanics vary and clues become more abstract such as emotional states,
camera movements, numbers, or sounds. Awakening's language does not use
words for explaining puzzles. Use inductive reasoning to discover the
challenges while exploring an oneiric environment full of wonder. Guide a
soul that decided to embark on a journey to find meaning.
