Arctic Awakening is a first-person narrative adventure set in the unforgiving Arctic. Your plane crashed in a storm, leaving only your court-mandated therapy robot for company as you journey to find your co-pilot and uncover the mysteries buried beneath the ice. Gameplay revolves around the story and agency within how you progress through said story. Dynamic weather, vast exploration and solving mysteries are all part of the experience. Our goal with the story has been to bring the drama and depth that TV and film do so well to a video game. We’re big fans of sci-fi and mystery, but we also wanted to tell a human story about friendship and its impact on mental health.
